Baltazar, Julius

Julius Baltazar is a French painter and printmaker of International Reputation. Fascinated by the words, he realized art books in collaboration with prestigious authors and poets, particularly with: Fernando Arrabal, Eugène Guillevic, Louis Mizon, Georges Emmanuel Clancier, Michel Butor… who by the verb, who by the image have become his friends.

“To discover the art of Baltazar is equivalent to take a dip in the cosmos of poetry, to learn to read nature as interpreted and ordered by the artist. The paintings of Baltazar are fed by the wind, the sea and the clashes of his own inner life “.  Claude Bouchard
