The exhibition invites us to follow the artist in her creative journey over five decades. Primarily a printmaker, Ann McCall has used a variety of printing techniques, including screen printing, collagraphy, and a variety of mixed media throughout her career. “Ecolo” before her time, she has always been preoccupied with nature, she invites us to a 50-year walk in the heart of her imaginary landscapes where space, time, night and day are translated into works of remarkable softness. A native of Toronto, Ann McCall studied at McGill University, the University of Pittsburgh and Concordia University. She has been a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts (RCA) since 1981. She lives in Montreal.
