Tétreault, Pierre-Léon

Pierre-Léon Tétreault was born in 1947. After a short stay at l’École des Beaux-Arts of Montreal, he opened his own studio in 1969. Avid traveler, he travels around the world, inspired by various cultures in the realization of his own work. He travelled first in Europe and then in Japan, where he did an internship at the workshop of Gaston Petit. After that internship, he travelled through the USA, Mexico, South America (Colombia, Venezuela, Guatemala, Uruguay, Ecuador, Argentina etc.), Africa (Togo, Senegal, Mali, Congo etc.) Asia South-East, (Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Indonesia etc.).

He moved to Costa Rica’ paradise in 1999, where he now lives permanently.
