Zurakowska, Malgorzata

Born in Poland, Malgorzata Zurakowska has a MFA (cum laude) in Print and Graphic Arts from The Academy of Fine Arts of Krakow. She is amongst a handful of internationally recognized artists continuing the tradition of the mezzotint method. She has won major recognition for her work in a number of prestigious competitions, winning six Polish Awards and seven International Medals in prestigious Biennials and Triennials.

Malgorzata Zurakowska is at present Chair of the Art Department at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
